Hi all !
Im just about to buy my second kite and Im not sure about the size thats is best for above period, I lived in Melbourne long enough to know that winter is quite mild and I guess perfect for kiting ,but its my 1st season and I have never taken any notice of winds during that time
I have only one kite 11m Waroo 09 at the time and its not the right size for my weight of 81kg. even on such great board as MAKO 140*40 I need 14/ 15 knots to go upwind and come back to the same spot without making any ground ,I do realize that part of the problem is inexperience but never or less I do need another kite, the Waroo is OK up to 28 knots, so I need 2 kites to cover top and bottom ends, since this year I can buy one only, hence my question to you, which would be more usefull for that time- I have in mind 7m ( range 16-31) and 10.5 (range 10-25) for my weight I think 2 knots must be added to top and bottom????, or perhaps I should go with 12m ( range 9-22) but thats getting big and I would rather get proper light wind board like Session and go for smaller size- dont want to kite below 10/11 knots.
Thanks in advance for your help- already made one mistake with Waroo and cant afford to make more!!!.
One more option would be to sell the Waroo now and get 2 new Deltas at the same time, is the price $1200 reasonable for 4 month old kite in excellent cond, perhaps its better to keep it till spring it will be still 09 kite and most likely the same cond as now since I take good care of my gear, also maybe spring better time for 2nd hand stuff.
Cheers

Yes Kiter from HEAVEN thats would be logical thing to do IF I wanted to stick with Waroo or similar bow, but I want to change to Deltas ,I believe that you can drop one size in such case, probably with other kites as well, like 10 NEMI HP, I bet it has better upwind perfomance than 11m Waroo but this is not a kite for the beginners like me.
