Just want some advice of where to kite today. West to southwest winds I was thinking Altona could be the go for the SW wind but if it turns to a straight W it will be cross offshore. Has anyone kited Altona in a W wind? If so did it become gusty and unpredicatable? And what about Point Henry? A W wind would be straight onshore. Anyone been there in these conditions?

where abouts are you located?, brighton and stkilda are SW beaches. though west wind is directly onshore

Henry is OK as long as you stay West of the headland, better off headed for 13th beach.
