Hey,

I was wondering if it would be worthwhile lugging my kites over to Melbourne this Wednesday, flying back to Perth on Sunday evening. Staying in St Kilda if that helps

Cheers

Yeah the wind looks alright for the rest of the week. You could kite over at Altona in the SE's as it's not too far from St Kilda

Looks like its meant to be blowing ~SE for the rest of the week so you'll probably get at least a bit of kiting in if your near St Kilda. I was down there today and the SE'ly was a little bit intermittently gusty; one moment it'd be a solid 15 knots then the next moment it'd gust then die down to ~8!

If you wanna check out the other sites Melbourne has to offer (for different wind directions) check out the sites list on Kitebeach (www.kitebeach.com.au/be1b-locn-a.htm).

Do it!
If for no other reason than to make yourself realise how spoilt you are for kiting in WA.

Thanks for the info.

Believe me, coming from Scotland, I know how spoilt I am in WA! Ha
For a start, I don't have to wear a dry suit and thermals in spring
