Some really great messages posted on this thread that HAS TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY!
In the scheme of things, kiting is an amazing sport but not worth a serious accident or life.
The distributors have a massive responsibility and opportunity to cut half of these mistakes off at the bud by not allowing any kite to leave their shops without lessons and WAKSA membership. I know it doesn't stop people buying out of the Qoukka but it's a start and the more people aware of the rules, the better response we will have to seeing and stopping potential accidents
Let me know if, when and how I can help
PS Not to try and put a damper on the beer and kiting but maybe someone can bring down a heap of WAKSA membership forms too whilst we are all in one place?
