Why are more and more windsurfers encroaching on the lucky bay kitesurfing area?
5 out this arvo skating along on a broad reach as everyone was going upwind, getting in everyones way.
In the past Ive asked guys why windsurf in the kitesurf area when the windsurfing area is 200m up the beach.....ATTITUDE
Poleys and teabaggers dont mix in such a small crowded area mabe one or two dickhead kiteboarders should make the windsurfing spot their local.....
1 or 2 kiteboarders whould be just enough to piss off the majority of windsurfers out there....NOOOOOOOOOOO

Its all there for everyone.
There are no rules written or otherwise
we share, we keep a look out, we smile.
Havent the poleys been saying this of us at there 20 year old spots?

We must look out for each other on the water...all of us.
If it makes sense to separate the polies and kiters....self regulation (ie logic) should prevail in the community. Real water sports enthusiasts will find their space I hope.
It ain't mine or yours, we are privaleged to use it....so heads up at Melville...there could be a crazy poli or kiter landing on you...............ooooooooooooh that hurts.

of course there is a huge area upwind of the windsurfing launch that is too shallow for polies but awfully nice on a kiteboard

Melville is gusty, holey, choppy and funny coloured, maloderous water.
Fun sometimes frustrating all others a good place to learn and practice stuff.
Often 5 knots lighter on melville water
