i've got a pointer for you:

HARDEN THE **** UP

myspace is great if you want to meet sexy 17 year old girls who are actually 43 year old prematurely balding men with hairy backs

no self-respecting kiter would have a myspace - unless you're an emo kiter which is fairly unlikely

another pointer:

just cause the first ****er who replied to your thread doesn't agree with you, doesn't mean you should give up hope and take it down

remember, the internet is full of assholes - i'm probably one of them. don't let it get you down.

Maaaaate,

Myspace is great Saying that, it all depends on what your using it for. Yes Neill is right there are a lot that are just using it to tell lies to fill that vacant place in their lives. Others like myself are grateful to have the ability to search for old school friends, the site is also similar to youtube you can search for videos and music and if you like upload your own.

heres an example of what you might find, enjoy!!

The whole MySpace concept is sooo perfect and awsome.. Ofcourse for 16 year olds that want to post nudie pics or 50 year old predators that wanna rape the same it's pathetic.

But for people like myself, producers, musicians, songwriters, DJs, or any other creative person it's great. Sooo many people who hook up with other people through it and produce music together. Songwriters can send their material to producers, producers can publish their work and DJs can download it and play it. It's a great idea and I know alot of great tunes have come out of MySpace "relationships".

Only problem with the MySpace webpage itself is that it's so un-userfriendly and it's just a drag using and navigating it. Considering how much it's worth and who's behind it (Google) you would have thought they'd spend some money on the design and interface

its great for us muso's myspace.com/xtortya i can't really see the point as to why a kitesurfer would have it, unless they are trying to get a sponsership with a company or something. Its easier to send them a link than to send them a dvd or something in the post.
we'll be at sae doing a recording in a couple of weeks, might see ya there sprucey.

Have to confess.. My Spazz user too... As Blaster said there are some usefull elements of the site, I've been able to catch up with old school mates who I haven't heard from in oohh....8 years or so... bit of a spin out, also had a friend from the states who I lost contact with shoot me a message, that was sweet.. My sisters have pages and one even has a page for her dog - Charlie.... So it is amusing none the less.

Thanks to the people that added me. It's weird. I've read this forum for ages and seen a lot of regular poster's. But when you see there Myspace page it gives you a different angle of them. It's good. I got a page so my girlfriend could see photos of me wherever im posted or deployed. And I, like others, have caught up with heaps of old friends. And thats all i use it for.... Not to crack on to a 40 year olds...... Anymore.

Keep the "add"s coming.

That sounds like the same offices Medic did his first aid course.

My space is a good idea, and the future of communication - a new way of communicating - instead of replacing a particular medium.....but it is more geared for younger people.

The worst thing about it is that its owned by Rupert Murdock, who is probably the most powerful man in the world.
