Welcome to Darwin, check out the Darwin weather forecast, if the winds are reasonable and in the NW direction - Casuarina beach - just opposite the surflifesaving club, if it is SE - Lee point.

Very important to have as stinger suit, if you don't have one already Jeff at Fun Supply check (yellow pages) can get them for you as well as other kite stuff if needed.

PM me if you need more help. You may recognise me as teh rider who has 04 gear and still can't ride upwind.

Use the Lee Point Latest Observations to judge the wind, Lee Point would be Easterlies rather then SE

and pretty much just look for the bums drinking at the surf life saving club, they will be moaning about the lack of wind recently heh heh

Hey guys,
Stoked to hear there's and active kiting scene in Darwin (even if the activity involves mostly waiting and whinging...). I'm moving (back) to Darwin this weekend and pretty keen to touch base with kiting crew asap. Never kited when I was up there last time.
Just ran into a guy at coronation who raved about the kiting and the crew in Darwin, so my hopes are up. First afternoon breeze that's up, I'll be out on the water with my 13m fuel by the sounds of the wind.
Check y'all there.
