Are the North Dyno kites any good? Is anyone buying them or are they just too expensive .I've seen that they are already having sales on these kites in the US well before the next years kites are released ,making the price in Australia 50% more expensive than in the states. Maybe North is over charging Australian retailers thinking that we are all just rich miners in this part of the world.

I am using the Dyno on a raceboard and there are a few others in NSW on them. So far they are going really good, nice and stable pull and have used them in both overpowered and underpowered conditions.
I have mainly used the large sizes and they have been very easy to loop.

Are you looking at it for racing or freeride?

The 2012 Dyno is the current model - http://www.northkites.com/products/kites/dyno/
Edit: sorry just looked at the list and realised the LTD is a different model I'll let you know if I can find out any more info on this one.

They are getting pretty good results in the racing overseas on them.

Lachlan - If you want to try one out send me a pm and I may be able to come down sometime.
