I'm booked to stay in Scotts Head for a week in Feb next year and was wondering what I should expect.
What size kites do people ride that time of year and what are the conditions like?
Is there any flat water in the area that is good for teaching others?
Any other Info would be great.

Is there no wind in NSW or do you not know where Scott's Head is?

Gee you Welshmen are a helpful lot.
If it's any help I think it is somewhere near Coffs but I don't want to hold my breath for a response.
Maybe I should go to Vic for a holiday, the wind is **** but the people would be a bit more helpful

What airport do you fly into? Maybe that will help people work out where the hell Scotts Head is? I've never heard of it but haven't lived in NSW very long.
Have a look on www.nswkba.com.au at kitespots, it has info about Coffs Harbour. If that is where you are going I will be able to track down someone around that area for info.
Are you coming from overseas or Oz?

i havnt kited scotts head but ive been through there its a pretty big surfing area. scotts head beach would be ok in a NE which is our seabreeze and should being going of in feb. but there is a got spot called trial bay about 20 mins south which is a sik spot for kiting a NE. Theres a few surfers up there that are just getting into kiting but yeh you probly wont see anyone. there is a guy scott balfour who rides gaastra whos stayin up there at the moment i can give u his number if u want
