Just recently my chicken loop rope snapped, so I purchased a new one , now my kite is constantly flying over my head no matter how much i seem to depower or power the kite! i think i have placed the chicken loop line knot in the wrong spot when connecting, the chicken loop rope has a black mark on it, do i place the knot right on the black mark, before it, after it???

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

Generally the kite lines should all be equal when the bar is rigged for full power. I.E. with the trim strap set on full power and the bar sheeted right in to the chicken loop.

Check your line lengths using this method and you should be able to adjust the chicken loop knot to the correct position.
