I have a naish torch and was wondering how it goes on four lines (I hear that it acts like a pig)?

Has anybody done it before if so how dangerous is it.

Would you recommend giving it a go or not.

yeah it needs the 5th and the centre Y line or it flares and loses shape and flys like SpiderPig - Doh!

Yeah dude i also have a torch, and since it works on a loaded 5th line system it is never a good idea to take that out since it would not hold the right angle of attack

I would disagree with the loaded 5th line operation of this kite, its a worthy safety feature necessary for this kite design.

But during normal flight operation it is unloaded and must be so, as there is no trimming capability on this line to adjust with the mainline trim/depower adjustments.

Nope, tension is held at the y point, so even if there is slack below that, the 5th is still tensioned to the canopy.
You can (not saying you should) remove the fifth from below the y, but there isn't much point and means you have no flagging option.

Stand corrected.

Counter intuitive with a slack 5th below the Y. One of my bar and line sets will need some maintenance as it has a damaged stopper ball.

Thanks Bomber.
