Yeah this place looks sick. Skeleton bay or something? I don't know how many days a year you get like this for kiting though

Fantastic video. Well done. I love the isolation factor and those waves ... Wow!

Was there some kiting in this vid? Almost missed it.

I'd personally prefer the wind offshore and the kite on the beach:

I've explored Namibia twice (so far) and if I had to name a single favourite country in the world it would probably be the one.

In 2008 my girlfriend & I hired a Nissan Tiida in Cape Town (SA), bought some cheap camping gear, explored most of the country save for the far north / skeleton coast which you need 4wd for. Hit 185kph a few times on those long straight highways thru the desert, had a big stinking male lion come lay down to rest in the shade of the vehicle in Etosha, right outside the open window, she could have put her arm out & petted it. Walked within 10m of Oryx in the dunes of Sossusvlei. Woke up on a farm to pet meerkats coming into our tent to play with us & snuggle in just like cats. Slept under the stars many a night, lived on boerewors on the braai and climbed a mountain in the the desert for sunset beers outside of Solitaire and that's where I proposed to her. Once I came round a corner and had tears spring to my eyes at the sheer physical beauty of the land, the likes of which I've never seen again.
