Anyone kited here?
Whats it like? Are there too many boats in the way?

Mate you have to be keen and desperate to kite there. Back in 2000 myself and some mates started there over at the spit in NE and it taught us alot about gusty riding with two line kites and we used to look over to the sea to Narra and see kites up and eventually said stuff this lets hit the ocean. Down towards the fitness camp end you can kite down there on a NE but heaps of windsurfers and they get the ****s. The SW in winter you can kite up at the other carpark where the big fields are and toilets but again it's very gusty.
We used to kite there in the winter all the time but you need to be ready to hang on when the bullets come through.
So in other words why bother only if you that desperate go for it.
