hmmmm, I have had several really good downwinders from Shoalhaven to Gerroa. Fairly gusty today though... Have heard that Windang is good, might have to take the extra drive one of these days. Great wave when it's on, but I have only surfed it and never kited there. Shoalhaven Heads can be really good on the right swell and when the outside bar is formed and working. Really long walls. Worth keeping an eye out during the winter months.
Downwinders are doable, but just I reckon its too gusty to just ride in the same spot there. But on a NE its great, only thing better is the downwinder run.
