I had a go on a board that a local guy made today. We get lots of lightish on shore wave riding conditions here and this board is the weapon for days that until now on anything kite or board were a chore .
It is 135 long and 18 inches wide with concave .3 large fins with the rail fins directly under foot .Is there anything out there commercially that I am unaware of
This thing is the goods

Cheers

The beast you are looking for is the Airush Exile it is 135 x 47 and has a concave bottom.

It was released for the 2005 season and every shipment was sold out straight away. Initially the board seemed too wide but once used to it, it is amazing how much extra water time can be had and it is way cheaper than buying a biger kite.

The new 2006 model is now in stock, so check it out.

Let me know where you are and let you know where your closest Airush shop is.

Cheers,

Ian

Hmmm ,not quite but close .the guy has a tt board like that but this latest one is a really stubby directional.Flat rocker at the tail right under the feet with big surfboard fins right under the feet.Imagine a surfboard with the back cut off right behind the fins and the pointy bit cut off at the front.

You are right I didn't really read your original post as carefully as I should have, didn't realise on the first read that it was a directional. Airush directionals are quite different at 128 x 38 and then surf style.

I`d be very interested in seeing a picture of this board!

Any chance you could post one on the forum?
