Just watching TV and doing my knitting and I looked up to see my underground board walking across the screen tucked under the arm of a proficient looking kite surfer girl. It's an ad for chocolate bars, and it looks like its filmed in Australia. Pretty cool really. But my question is...HOW DO I GET ON THE TV????

Man, I wanna be just like her when I grow up.

Yep Bondo, and some local Sydney girl and CJ from the Gold coast got the main parts.
It was a very good earner for both of them. TV ads are great money when you can get them. They are always very fussy about getting the person with the right look, who can kite.
Underground gets a better plug than the choccies I reckon!

Hmm, yes I think although I can do the jumping part just fine and dandy I think I fall over in the cute blond euro-babe department. And I'd wear a bikini if my rib didn't poke out grotesquely from hitting the beach a year ago. The most I have in common with the 'female lead' is the board.

Oh well, *sigh*, back to the PhD.

If you wanna get on tv and do that. First remove brains and moral standards. Learn how to get on your hands and knees, enjoy having a brown nose and learn to be a crawler. All the above posts have suffice advice

i just saw the ad for the first time tonight, OMG is it an ad for Underground or chocolate bars?? i actually couldnt tell u what the brand was as i was too stoaked to see kiting on prime time TV!

but seriously, you rekon the UG boards got more of a staged product placement in that ad compared to the choco bar?

but yeah, top job to those who were luck to get it.

Has anyone seen some sort of car add with a kite cornholioing (falling out of the sky) in the back ground, it looks so crap, good way to promote the sport.

Looks a lot like Noosa river mouth. Ive seen it much better than this. lame attempt at linking an extreme sport with an extreme 4WD (so they say) in fact both the kite image and the xtrail are lame.

Its an ad for Bueno chocolate. Made by the same people as Kinder Surprise.

I also went down for the auditions, but I can't handle cameras and couldn't get the lines right!

They gave us chocolate samples to eat... yum!!
