Hey guys. Just recently made the move to Kiteboarding and lovin' it, but bein a Newbie to the sport, I'm as green as they come and hav'nt had the chance to get in any solid practice. I've got all my gear and areas to board sorted, but I'm curious about the use of my Wakeboard in replace of the Kiteboard, anyone have any pointers for using the Wakeboard?

Wakeboards have more rocker than kiteboards, ie. kiteboards are flatter, which means the wakeboard will need more power to get going. Are you using straps on the board or bindings? Wouldn't recommend bindings for learning. Plenty of good cheap kiteboards around, do yourself a favor.

Nah it has bindings, I was looking into converting the bindings for straps, but hav'nt had much luck so far. I'll keep looking into it, but stick with the Kiteboard for the time being. Thanks for the tips.
