Whats the dumbest"i'm a wally",newbie story you have?
I'll kick it off,I still dont believe I did this.

To set the scene,I'm a 40 + guy with a bit of a beer gut thing happening who hasn't really had that much to do with the beach and ocean scene.Well, after pondering the New or Second hand purchase I(or the anmber fluid)decide to buy new and I rock on down to SHQ in Sandringham.I'm in the shop, decided on the kite, board, harness ect, and now it's time to try the wetty on for size.In the change room I'm thinking,"Sh$t these things are hard to get on".Once on,looking in the mirror I'm thinking"hey, not bad, sucks the gut in,I'm looken good".
Stroll out of the changeroom looking for the sales rep to make sure the fits ok.As I'm walking through the shop,a young bloke who works there looks over and whispers,"Hey dude,I'ts on backwards. All i could say was,"f$ck,that's why it was so hard to put on.The look on his face,it was priceless, and he was trying so hard not to laugh.

Could have been worse,I could have ended up on the beach with it backwards

how about the guy who tried on a seat harness and he thought it was a chest harness.

he complained that it made his shoulders hunched.

Sh$t,I should have added,it was a very basic spring wetty(short arms, legs and no padding).geee blondie,I'm not that much of a Wally( just half a one)

I can see it now,I'll turn up at the beach and there will be echoeing cry of:,"RUN,save yourself,it's the backwards wetty dude"

HHHmmmmm, seat harness, as waist harness.that'll work.
Gotta go "Son,wheres the harness"
