Hello, I have a friend who is approx 60kgs who will moving to Newcastle soon.
Was wondering what the appropriate kite size would be for her.
Also she will likely take up lessons - has no experience as yet, except mucking around with a trainer kite.

Recommendations on who to contact for lessons?

Thanks.

kiteworks does lessons,
our seabreezes peak at about 20kts on a good arvo at this time of year so for the 15-17kt days a 9m should give plenty.

i learnt with lachie at kiteworks newcastle he's been there for years, couldn't think of a better place to learn before any lessons he gave me a quick intro with a trainer then lent it to me for a week untill i felt comfortable with it. dont know of anyother place willing to do that. he's super keen, not in any hurry to get you up on the board and the cash out of your wallet.
