Hey Em,
It was great seeing you kiting out at Manly the other day... I'm guessing all those talks you gave the forum about how kiting is banned from Manly was just a ploy to get the beach to yourself? ;) Anyway, I'm sure we'll be seeing you down there again soon...

Thought as well it was making a long time I hadn't seen a topic personnally adressed to myself!
-gotta keep up the good work, hey...-
"J",
please, go back to my post you're refering to:
seabreeze.com.au/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=26808&SearchTerms=ManlyI think you've skipped few sentences of my actual reply, because we were clearly talking about avoiding Manly in summer time, when the beach is crowded, when the flags are out, in order not to encourage tourists or beginners to go there and get us labelled as a dangerous hazards.
-Again- Manly is not banned, and hopefully won't be.
This is the only time of the year I may go to Manly, with may be late Automn, (very first or very last NE) simply because it's the only time of the year where it's sensible to.
There were no flags out, the swell was huge and closing up, there were 5 surfers out from Queenscliff down to south Steyne, if, and I went to see the Surf life savers right as I arrived, asked them if I was OK to kite and they gave me the thumb up. We waved at each other later on when one of them took some students out in the white wash and I went downwind from them.
Gosh it is exhausting to always have to justify oneself.
The post you're quoting is 6 months old, NKBboarding...
Now that I think about it, this has been my only kite in Manly for the past 6 months... You've been waiting for this one, haven't you?

Now please, explain me "J", what did I actually do wrong in your understanding of the world that can justify enough of your time and attention for you to start a topic on Seabreeze?
Next time, click the PM button mate...
Way more appropriate.
