My red kite is Rosie my emerald green one is Esmeralda
but when they fling me upside down on my head they are generically known as "the Bitch"
I think it's like with an old faithful car, they've got their own characters. After you've had em for a while and been through some stuff together, that's when you give em a name.
An old 15m I had around 2003 we called "The Bus". It was like driving a bus, a little slow to corner and had to take the corners wide. It also felt like the long bar I was swinging around was like the big steering wheel of a bus. It was also around the weight of a bus and it was a little hard to stop!!
