Remember that hassle we used to have with slingshots where, on a hot day, the nipple would come off the bladder?
I thought it had been fixed, years ago, but it hasn?t. I am in Oman, where it has been over 40?s for a few days, and after kiting for half an hour, the nipple on a hardly used Reo came loose in a few seconds, and I had a delightful swim in.
Question to all the chemical heads: - Because they have been subjected to heat, can I expect this to happen on the rest of the nipples on my other REO?s ?i.e., should I replace all the nipples on all the kites? Or might it have been a once off?

Damn . It sounds odd as I've never heard of people having this issue yet. Perhaps contact Ozone direct I'm sure they would like to hear about it and would probably give you some better info/help etc.

Actually his post isn't 100% clear, I'm not sure if he's talking about the valve nipple popping out (which could be fixed with a cable tie), or the valve peeling off the bladder completely. Perhaps you'd like to take take the time to read it again subculture?

If you don't understand the content of the original post, I'm not going to waste my time explaining it to you.

BTW, better to proof read your post before you try to be a smart ass next time.

Had ozones for years, never had an issue with delaminating valves on the bladders, where we're they stored, 40 in the shade is over 50 then add a lot more if in the car, I recently replaced a valve on another brand and found all were beginning to delam , cheaper to replace the bladder, contact your dealer if it's brand new he'd give you a replacement I'd say

Thanks guys - I will try the new bladder way. I'm on a job probation In Oman and staying in a hotel room for 4 months, which isn't conducive to doing kite repairs.

Twice you posted on this thread; twice you proved how little you know about kites, can't read, or are just plain dumb.

Re your name calling Mr keyboard warrior, let me know if you ever get over here, we can talk directly. Seems you need a reality check - you picked the right guy.
