Can't decide between getting a Nobile 666 134 or a Liquid Force Concept Ltd 135.Can any body who has ridden these two boards compare the two. What are they like in all sorts of conditions, pop etc etc.
I know that they are two very different styles of boards,i am just trying to figure out which one might suit me best and in the conditions i mostly kite in.
Cheers.

Ive ridden a 135 LF Concept in flat to choppy water bout 13-15knotts.

Really really nice feel to ride hey.
It has a bit more rocker then a LF recoil and is a stiff board. Its more of a wakestyle board hey, so if ya wanting to do more freestyle sorta stuff especially in the lower 10-15knott winds; go demo a 134-137 recoil or recoil comp. The recoil comp has a really comfy amount of flex and has just the right amount of rocker for a great all rounder board in light winds through to the stronger 25knott days.
Why are you deciding between these two boards anyway?

666, allround high performance board for chop, flat or surf the pop isnt as agresive as other stiffer boards but allows you to hold it for a bit longer if needed to time it just right you steel get the pop out of it just in a smoother way. It isnt a real skatey board takes a bit of a push to break it free when switching etc. but for landing tricks it is awsome.

Im riding the 134 at the moment and love it, have tried boots on it and it was nuts and would probably be better on the 137 you can just hold so much more down. I used the nobile board selector on there website to choose the right size board normaly i would have gone around the 130 mark but this feels spot on.

I've spent about a month on my '09 666 134 now and can honestly say it's the ducks nuts. I was looking at the 131 but after riding the 134x42 was completely sold. What sold me on the 666 was how smooth it rides in light chop and that it really works for me on flat water. In raw pop (for me) it was a draw between the 666 and the Flexfoil Omega.
Final deciding factor was the warranty on each board; Nobile now offer a 3 year 'unbreakable' warranty on the 666 and Shinn.

Unfortunately I didn't get the chance to demo any of the LF boards as they don't seem to get distributed much down in Melbourne.

edit: FWIW i'm ~78kg and 6'3". As i said, for my weight i was going to go the smaller 131 but after riding the 134 i was sold!

I know every one will attack me here and I will get 100s of red thumbs but hey, I can say my opinion!?!

I'm talking from more than10 years of experience in snow boarding and 3 years of kite surfing (plus 27 years of skiing); If I paint all the boards the same colour and give you the whole week to try them all still you wont be able to tell the difference (you can see the shape differences but you wont feel them under your feet).
I had an Airush switch then a Nobile 555 and now an Anti-G PLUS I had 10s of snowboards, it's the same story on snowboards.
But when ever I'm talking about it all the resellers attacking me.
If you have the technic to ride the flex of the board will not effect your riding or your handle pass.

Foot straps on Nobile are comfortable though(Not as comfortable as Airush).

I'm definitely calling bull**** on that one Alex; sorry man.
I spent the most part of a fortnight demoing every single board that came within arms reach of me in search of my new board and every single one of them had slightly different characteristics. Some of the character of the board came from the outline, some from the fins, some from the rocker and channeling, but all of them were different.
If you handed me a Nobile 666, and Underground FLX and a Naish Thorn all identical sizes i'd be able to tell you which one i was riding without looking.

Boards make a HUGE difference on the water. I'm a little surprised more people don't pay as much attention to their boards as they do their kites.

If you've got knee problems then definitely opt for the 555 over the 666 or any other stiffer boards. Not quite as much pop or response as the 666 but still a very sweet all round board that's more than capable of taking some abuse.

Kadkhah. I'm of similar kiting experience but reasonable inexperienced in the other sports you mentioned. I switch boards with mates regularly and I reckon there is heaps of difference. Like heaps and heaps of difference. I was about to write that I thought these two boards were quite different to be comparing. Concept ltd being based around a more wake style board with 'aggressive continuos rocker'. I haven't ridden a concept ltd but I reckon it would ride totally different to a 666.. have you tried both and actually think they feel the same?
