Anybody out there know what the winds tend to do in Noosa around mid to late June??

As per Hurrah +
I've just returned from a couple of weeks in Noosa. Only one day of 10-15knt S-SE.
Dont trust the observations from Double Island Point - it's often 5-10 knots more than Noosa. Tewantin and Maroochy met stations will give you a more accurate feel for the conditions at the rivermouth or on the lakes.

Yeah, the DI weather station is on top of a bloody great point that sticks out a way and scoops up any air movement at all and funnels it straight into its wind meter. Even if you're kiting right there the obs will be about 5-7 kts more than what you're riding in.
There's a couple of nice spots there by the way.

Might as well just take my gear and pray for the best.
