Hi all, I've got a week in Noosa in Mid September (coming across the ditch from NZ). Any advice on what winds I might expect, what kites to bring and water temp/wetsuits?
Cheers

Hey slyde you will most likely get NE 15-20 knots - outgoig tide at noosa works best but it will be busy.. try the beachies sunshine side to get away from crowds and maroochy river is good too.. a bit more space than noosa. !
Have fun !

G'day Mate,
The annual Kite Festival is on at Coolum, 20mins South of Noosa on Sunday September 18. I "assume" that it includes the kitesurf comp. as it did in the previous years. Either way, it's well worth dropping in. Peter Lynn will be there as usual along with kiters from all over Oz and NZ, as will I, from not-so-sunny-Perth. Come and say hello. We don't shoot Kiwis anymore.......unless you're an All-Black player............in which case we'll take a sample of your DNA and offer you a few hundred Aussie virgins for the weekend!!!
yeh, yeh ..... female ones....... of course......yeh....... like...you know...... hot Aussie chicks... you know.....yeh.... what d'ya think I meant!!??..........
:))
cheers
