Hello all, I'm sure this has been asked many times, but I can't find a hit on the search.

Like a number of people with North Gear, I love to look at myself, especially whilst kiteboarding with a GoPro Camera.

The problem is the screws in my North Jaime (FS4.7) fins are too short once I add the GoPro Mount (which probably adds the equivalent of the thickness of the board to the length the screw needs to go through).

Does anyone know where I can pick some longer matching screws from?

Yeah bunnings or any chandlery will have marine fastenings.

316 is a grade of stainless which is designed not to rust in salt water. Yes stainless goes rusty! But don't worry 90% of stainless screws are 316.

Never in the steel industry but I know a little about marine stuff and what will and won't corrode, though it seems that you can get "staining" on what is *supposed* to be 316. Nothing to worry about unless it starts to look like coffee/flaky.

I believe there are a couple of higher grades but for the price it's really not worth it.

Suni - Do you know if 316 is rust resistant to town/fresh water?
