My mate was telling me the other day that his girlfriend wanted to use his North Rebel battens in a black vase as a mantle ornament. Apparently they keep deforming in the kite so he took them out and replaced them with some non North battens that hold their shape. I couldn't understand why his girlfriend wanted to use them as decorations until I saw them myself.
