Religion breeds the exact problems and acts that it tries to exclude and remove itself from.
All religion (cults) really should be banned, it only helps but to divide us.
I hope these mongrels get caught and the catholic church exposed for these heinous crimes. This is disgusting and only further makes me not want to be involved with anything of a religious nature.

Religion doesn't divide. People divide. Some of the worst murders in history have been atheist, Hitler and Stalin to name a few.
I agree that the Catholic Church needs to be ripped a new asshole for this action, but lets not blame the people who had nothing to do with it. Plenty of Muslims, Christians, Buddhists etc that had nothing to do with this and try to live their lives without bothering anyone.
Think of it like kiting. There are the 1% of dickheads who spoil it for the rest.

Lets not forget some of the worst wars in history have also been started over religious divide. Obviously no-religion isn't going to stop murders and wars, but at least it would give us one less thing to fight about.
Religion can be good for some, it gives some people hope and a reason to respect others. But really lets be honest, we shouldn't need a cult to demand we do these things in order to act like this. In this day and age you should be able to work that out for yourself.
Plenty of Nazis probably had nothing to do with killing thousands of Jews as well, but they are labeled immediately so as doing such... They are still victimised for being a part of such an organisation. I see no difference here once you know what the catholic church has done, by supporting the catholic church you are supporting child molesters and in time you will be labeled accordingly whether you like it or not.
The world would be a better place without religion. There is no doubt.
