Greetings all,

Heading to Hotham tomorrow for a week of snow boarding.

Question: Do Oakley water jackets work ok in the snow? I'm assuming, that on a fine day they would work, but has anyone used them in not so good conditions?

I suppose I'll find out in a couple of days, just thought I'd ask the question.

In flat light you need a flat light lens, I can't imagine the water jackets would be good for this. Also, given their venting, I can't see them being good on your eyeball when it gets cold. Buy a cheap pair of goggs with an amber lens for the cloudy/snowy/cold days.

Hey steve, when are you leaving, i'm gonna be up there next Sat and Sun. Would be good to catch up if your still around.

Also, they would be fine on a nice day, but so are sunglasses. You'll need a low light lense for the cr@p days (or the good days depending on what way you look at it) otherwise you'll be going by touch.

Thanks guys,

I have several pairs of goggles. Have'nt boarded for some years and the last time I was out I wore some bike glasses on the fine days, they worked well. I'll take the Oakleys for the fine days.

Gidday Rhys, I'm staying up at Dinner Plains from Sunday to Sunday, Heading up tomorrow. If your about next Sat, drop us line 0400927617.
