If i'd started riding 5 or 6 years ago I'd probably use a C as well but I didn't and the guy at the shop sold me a bow, so guess what, thats what i learnt on.
Remember Jimi hendrix was left handed and learnt to play a right handed guitar backwards and upside down. Nobody told him it was the wrong way round and he ended up ripping.
