Hi all,
I have been trying to buy some gear for a mate and making calls to people and sending Emails. From 8 Emails I've received no replies and from all of the calls I've made the items have been sold (some after only a few days)

It only takes a minute to pull your ad if stuff is sold and 30 secs to reply to an Email. The selling system is obviously working well, but as a buyer it would be much easier if people could remove their ad once the gear is sold to save buyers wasting time and money.

Cheers, Smash

I agree with you, but i thought everyone did! last time i bought somthing (late november) i got heaps of offers back relatively quickley.
However the one I bought was still posted a good 3-4 weeks later though.
Anyway, good luck, hope your message reaches those who need to hear it.

For those who have adverts that are sold but not removed, do it like this:

View your adverts here: My Adverts
www.seabreeze.com.au/Members/Classifieds/MyAdverts.aspx

Click on the sold item and you'll see a "Remove Advert" link at the top of the page! Click that .. Easy!

Maybe the website can be modified to automatically remove ads after one month. There is no charge to relist your items for sale, but you need to make a concious decision to do so. This way by default items are automatically removed. Otherwise the Buy & Sell area, becomes difficult, and people will slowly stop using it.
