One day the poor old Wipy will self-destruct and then I guess you'll have no choice.

Jarran,

If it's in the sky doing the job then it's got to be a great kite. A lot of the kites over the past years are have been rock solid.

IMO the latest kites have always been just a slight improvment and sometimes not even that !

If it's not broken , don't bother to fix it !

Use that bitch to death !

Hey Jarran,

I have an old Wipika Hydro 8.9 sqm i bought from peli point about 99 also.

In strong winds - i love this kite. only thing thats burst on it so far is the middle strut bladder. impressive after such a long time.

def a keeper.

Ive got an old wipika 7.1m free air I still take out on strong wind days... it goes great never had a problem with it... & never had to get repaired. I use a 4 line set-up on it however... unlike the original 2 line set-up.

it great to here that the old kite still rock .
i have a naish 7.0ar 3.5 ,7m i think . that is near new even though it is a 99 kite thinking about taking it out for a play and wanted to know how best to set it up .it will take 4 line but should i get the kite cut for the 4 line ,to stop the flapping edge and what length lines should i use .or just use it as it is .
you should see the bar its so long you could use it to pole volt with .and as for the instructions "kite size 7m in 10-15knotes" my ass maybe if you wiegh 25kg
anyway any help would be great. as this seems to be the thread to ask the question in .

jags hows it going? You should definetly get your nash hooked up to four lines. Once i changed mine the kite took on a hole new personality. Easer & faster to turn and much better to handle in a gust. AS for line length its up to you iv had a couple of lengths and couldnt tell much diferance. The flappy bits on the side you should be able to role them up and there should be some velcro strips to keep them roled up. Wind stringth you should probably try 20 -25 knots.
hope that helped
