On the 15th of January 2009 Fuel TV will be showing a program called Guinea Pig, in episode 5 its all about the wind and in the second segment the host has a go at kite boarding.

I watched it at work and I'm thinking its how not to learn the sport. He gets launched trying to body drag and smashes into the shallows. It features a brief bit of the Mr Top Hat video for good measure lol.
