Just wandering what peoples thoughts are on Kitesurfers (on a surfboard) just kiting the flat water and just doing carves and cruising around...

flat water is only for elite riders, not for the likes of us mere mortals, we should be banished to the back beaches for not doing handle passes…...

it’s not like your catching the wave, Your kites actually pulling you (Believe it or not) which is why a TT is perfectly fine in the waves

Perhaps rather than this ludicrous topic you might all like to give your opinion on lotsofwind valuing a 2002 kite at $1530

Or asking the question we've all been wondering - can you put 'helium air' in a kite?

seems a far better place than them kiting in the surf and short tacking. Let's make it the next big thing!

IMO it's the perfect spot to learn transitions prior to heading out into the surf, I've heard the ponds perfect get down there

Each to there own.

I'm a weirdo myself rolling with a mutant TT in some of the best waves on the planet.

Then when the wind is light I'm boosting and gliding over boulders on landboard or doing speed runs on the buggy. The rest of the kitesurfers are doing the walk of shame or sitting in the beach waiting for wind. ..... . . . . I'm thinking why aren't they landkiting it would be way for fun.....
