Hi guys,
I want to switch my one overall board to having a light wind board and a high wind board and I would like you guys opinion on sizes....

I'm thinking of a
- Cabrinha Custom 2010 136 X 42
- Cabrinha Plasma 2010 146 X 46

I'm a huuuuge guy (wink wink) a 90 kilos, so a few guys suggested I should go for the
Custom 140 X 42.5 instead......So don't know which size is the best...

I will be kiting in Adelaide choppy waters :)

Hey Doolz,
That's good news...Do you ever feel the board is too big when you are out in high winds ?

That's my main concern in getting a 140 instead of the 136.....

hey Sidenius- I rode a 10m switchblade and a 140 custom all last year at henley, I am 105kg but my mate who is about 90kg rode the same....I never felt overpowered and it holds a solid edge but due to the rocker the 140 is not all that awesome at staying upwind in lighter conditions. A skimboard has given me heaps more fun on the water in those lighter conditions. I really liked the Custom- still got mine if you want to take it for a ride pm me.

light wind & choppy + big arse guy (apparently :) = bigger board 140+ less rocker more flex big kite

strong wind + beer gut :) = smaller board 135- more rocker & flex small kite

Demo dude dont believe everything you read - the big arse beer gut is true but maybe not my recomendations

Have a great time kiteing and they all feel the same when your flying up in the air

Thanks for the replies guys....Seems like I could do OK with a 140 even in higher winds....

Happy days and beer gut..

I ride the 136 2010 custom and a 144x46 stella when its light and i'm 78kg. at 90 kg the 140 will be the go for you. they ride like a smaller board due to rocker and curvy outline.
