Found some unattended gear today, and of course there was no mobile number on the board.

How do you expect to get it back if you haven't put some form of ID on there?

For all newbies, please get out that permanent marker and write your mobile number on your board. If you're worried about resale value, then get some metho and watch as the texta comes off like magic. And then consider how much resale you'll get on a board that's been lost...

Hey Ben,

Nice work today! No one came back to claim any gear this afternoon. I hope you get a call.

We mark EVERY board when customer is picking their gear up. In almost every case, the boards are returned within a week. We even had one board found weeks later 20 miles off the coast of Jurien Bay by a cray fisho.

Nebbian is right, texta your name and or number with the word "Reward".

Again, nice work mate

dudes,
texta actually soaks into a lot of the clear plastic surfaces on kiteboards leaving indelible info. maybe write it on a sticker and not affect the resale value of your stick. 'e.g. if found call richard head 0417978432'

not cool.
