Hi guys

I am about to go on my first kiting holiday to Fiji very excited!!

I would love some suggestions on how to pack up my kites for the best transport, we have three all together a 16, 12 and an 8.

Our thought was to place one on top of the other and fold them together and put them all in the 16m bag... not sure if this is a good or bad idea???

All suggestions welcome

fold, dont roll, the kites. pack them into vacuum bags (get them at safeway or bunnings, etc) and press them flat with your bum b4 sealing the bags. you'll get all 3 kites into the space of one. they should even fit well into a boardbag as a single layer on top of the board. worked very well for my last trip to fiji.

btw. put your pump hose inside the pump; stops it getting crushed and split (good spot for repair kits and recreation drugs[}:)] too)

Hey,

I usually remove the spars from the tips and then lay all the kites on top of one another, then roll my surfboard up in them and place the whole thing in a surfboard bag. Just take one kitebag with you and stuff this around the nose of the surfboard that way you'll get all your gear to Fiji in one piece and it will be really easy to handle only one bag instead of several.

PS. Remove the fins from your surfy of course!

Go get some!
