I have been liasing with Melville City Council to try to keep the parking along the Melville Beach Rd so that we may retain this area in Lucky Bay for kiting.
As you will see from the copy of email I received from Melville Council, the response is positive.
Great news! So we can retain this area and not upset the residence lets abide by the NO STANDING ON VERGE signs and NO PARKING signs. Be dilegent and inform any fellow kiters to move their vehicles if they don't notice the signs(as I have been known to do)

Happy Kiting

Dear Ms Anderson,
I had received this enquiry a few weeks ago from another customer and had our sign installers check the location. They reported to me that all was the way it should be.
However, following receipt of your email I went down to have a look myself and find that you are right and the No Parking sign that is on the west side of Canning Beach Road just north of Ness Rd should read No Stopping on Verge, not No Parking.
I have made arrangements for this sign to be altered and this will be done within the next two weeks.
In the meantime I have asked our Ranger Servics not to enforce the No Parking sign, so your group is welcome to park there on the street as you were able to before. I apologise for any inconvencience this has caused and thank you for bringing the matter to my attention.
Sincerely,
Debra Swadling
