Hi am looking forward to a kiting holiday come this december.
As this is my first time to Perth, I really appreciate some directions to a good beach, advice on wind, what size kites to bring.
As I am also making this trip a holiday for my family, ie. wife and 2 sons (non-kiters), I do not wish to travel too far out of the city.
I am also looking to meet some new friends to kite and do dinner together with my family. Nightlife party I will have to take a rain cheq.
Or if someone can point me in the right direction who or local kiteshop I can contact.

Hey Bern Dog,

December is windy .... usually, so you will probably need a 12m as your staple, and a 9 or an 8 for when it is cranking. Depending where you are from, you may not have small enough kites. Give us a call and you can rent brand new 2007 Airush Flows and DNA's and maybe even a Halo if you have the skills. We will also be renting boards this year from the 2007 Airush range. Switch, Protoy exile will be staples.

We are just north of the city near Hillary's Marina. PM me for details or visit the site.

Hope to see you in December,

Rosy

just read your message me amd my girlfriend moved out about six months ago as a none kitesurfer. Now it is safe to say i live to kite and there is no better place to be than wa (windy australia).
The place to go for a great community and friendly people would be the world renowned woodmans point with 3 beachs and a choice of on-shore off-shore and cross-shore and only 5 mins from fremantle every kiters dream.
I weigh 90kg and manage fine on 16 and 11m.
hope this will help
