So Perth wake park has been up and running for about 6 months now, Ben and Simon have got an awesome set up going on and a fantastic park! It does get horrendously busy there sometimes especially during the summer months and weekends, sometimes enough to put me off going to be honest, paying for 2 hours of riding to spend most of it standing in line behind people falling off the dock! What are other riders' thoughts?

Never been there, don't know the owners.

But if it wasn't busy, and didn't have the demand, it would more than likely be uneconomical and be out of business within a year or 2.

Would you prefer a wake park or not?

Your thoughts?

My thoughts, during the summer the sea breeze is in almost everyday. Any day the wind isn't blowing in summer is a day of rest for the knees. When the kiting season stops there will be less people at the wake park, it's like a perfect scenario.

Buy a winter membership then, you wont be worried about lines then and be fit for the kite season.

Bonus, you can ride weekdays for free when summer troughs out too.

PWP is an amazing place with a great atmosphere and even if it's really busy you will still get a couple of runs in.
If you're local then rather than being a tight arse get a season pass so you can do the riders nights Tues & Thurs, if you go to the park 20 or so times its paid for itself and its a fantastic facility to keep you conditioned through the winter for the up and coming kite season!
