I reckon you can't beat a session on an open beach in as direct onshore as possible. As long as you're at the stage of going upwind well enough to get out through the waves, cruising up and down the backline always within swimming distance of shore is great fun. Can be a bit of a poor mans way of spending some cheap time in some tubes too.

I'll be at Scarbs.

nyah, my airmatress doesnt like big waves. But sounds like Warnboro might be good on Sat - good for going up & down the shore of the nudey beach and having a perv ....

Hey, now thats 2 answers to my own question. I should ask myself how to get rich quick.....

I'll be awake, the question will be if the wind is going to show. The forecast is dropping off and I've got a sneaking suspender that the dwindling bunch of green arrows might be further dwindled by the morning calm effect. WTF is happening to the season? Those green arrows better pull through next week, or the whole moving to Perth thing might be questioned.

Is it just me or has the breeze this season in Perth been like swiss cheese?

Tuesday night was depressing (knew I should have got the biggy out) on a 13m - lots of teabagging. No not BB stylee

Later on even a nice bit of crocheting in my favourite chair, with a hot toddy couldn't spark me up. Where's my bl00dy zimmerframe gone...

But they were the arrows for mon, tue, wed to start with. And there's less of them. It's not right, I tell you. Starting to get a bit upset with the whole state of affairs.

Its 730am and Mandurah has been rocking at 20+knots since dawn. Now it looks like its heading for STORM conditions!!! What Tha!

Rotto swim has been cancelled. (Not that that tells you anything - they've just finally woken up to the fact that swimming to Rotto at any time is JUST PLAIN CRAZY. )

Yeah, bloody nutters. Imagine going in the water without a kite, how much hard work that would be...

I see all the green arrows have been bunched together into Wednesday now, and squeezed up over the 20 knot line. Here's hoping, another week without any good kiting and I may as well go back to Johannesburg.

yeah, the thing is that at half my size you would probably struggle to ride my bike. At 880mm seat height you've really got to be at least 6' tall, and with a dry weight of 198kg you need a bit of bulk to be able to throw it around. Maybe I should leave you my kites instead?

Maybe if you were cycling instead of riding you may lose some of that weight pat?

Good point. Buy a bigger kite or a bigger board, but whatever you do, don't stop drinking.
