Hi guys i'm off to Peru in June.

Has one been there to kite before?? i seen lots of footage of mancora etc
I prefer c-kites and unhooked, but i notice on the videos most of the guys that ride unhooked (Dre in 'Lines' of example) normally seem to stay hooked in?

So what is the best kite (or style) for some who likes to ride unhooked.

or basically if i take my c-kites am I going to get smashed?

any advice would be great
