This weekend in the Mackay and Yeppoon area.Meet Peter Lynn the designer of the Venom and the new mid AR Aussie designed Redback(to be released later in the year).If your in those areas and see a big orange or black mattress thats him.Yours truly will also be there so if your in the area say G'day and fly the latest in doona tech.
basically the redback is a lower AR venom with a few extra tricks.(replaces the Bomba)It can be flown completely on the back lines without stalling and is fast and grunty L/D is very good also (not far off the venom) with excellent depower/range and power up.i had a quick go before Pete and fiona headed north .I will fly it the next couple of days and plan to put it in the hands of others who have never flown this type of kite (or earlier arcs)for their feedback
