Remember...the more strings you have, the more strings to get caught up...
That is correct but its easier for those sharp edges to cut my Leading edge tube Plus I have to carry a pump with my self at all times.

Is there a good reason that you don't want to buy a kite for the water and another kite for the snow?...
I think my best reason is that I can't afford two kites plus the one I have! and I only use my snow kite 1 month a year so its much better if I can use my water kite on snow.

... An 8m Pulse2 would be a pretty good choice for a water + snow kite.
That is so true. I have even sent email to Flysurfer and they recommend Puls2 too.
There is an 8m one for sale here is seabreeze but unfortunately the owner is not answering his mobile. (I've called him 6 times different days)

I couldn't find any in the buy and sell section, Do you know who is the Peter Lynn dealer in WA and if they trade second hand kites or not?

... I own a 8m Psycho3 and a 10m Speed2. I tried the 10m Psycho4 .
Fred
I understand from your review that P3 and P4 are very similar.
I know that P4 is an awesome kite but unfortunately its out of my budget.
Will you trade your 8m p3 with a 10m p3 (as I can get a 10m P3 with a reasonable price)?
