Hi,
Looking for some advice
Staying at Phillip Island late Dec, early Jan
Are there any good spots on (or around) Phillip Island?
Waves? Flat water?
What is the average wind range for these spots?
Thanks,
Z

I have kited in Cat bay ( Right Point , Flynns Reef area ) on a South Westerly ( I think ) was a great spot super long waves off right point when its working... Not the most pleasant place to have to body drag for your board as Manicskier said Seal rocks are close by and the Noahs lurk waiting for seal burgers .
That being said, head down there as you will soon find other kiters ( if the wind is on) , avoid falling off your board, the sharks are there but the fear is mostly psychological ( he says touching wood ) and enjoy, its a great part of the world.

if kitting san remo are id sugest wearing a leash strong currents and big sharks.
but i heard that woolami and smiths beach can be really good you have to fight with surfers for a wave especially that time of year it gets packed.

That would be my advice too! It's about 20min drive to Inverloch. You will find waves too, if the wind is right. Strong currents though.
