Can anyone suggest some places around Melbourne for a beginner. Preferably around the western side of the bay. Altona is the closest to me and I'll probably end up there, but given the reasonably small setup area I figure it's probably best to stick to somewhere with a bit more room for starters and less crowds.

I had my first lesson down at Ocean Grove and liked it down there. The other side like St Kilda etc look to crowded for my liking just yet and further round that way takes ages to get too.

Thanks
Voss
