ahh darl.

It's Wellington Point and for a newbie it isn't really recommended. If I was you I would aim for Sandgate just before Redcliffe as there are no rocks, no hazards and no fines

Moreton Bay Waters
A strong wind warning is current.
Friday until midnight: SE winds 20/30 knots. Seas to 1.5 metres. A few showers.
Saturday: S/SE winds 25/33 knots with seas to 1.6 metres. A few showers.
Sunday: S/SE winds 25/35 knots.
Monday: SE/E winds 25/35 knots.

No problem
These winds mean that you will be a spectator. Even if you have a small kite I would tell you to NOT go out!

Today was lovely conditions there with 19-26 or so knots on my 8m and others on 9 and 11m kites. However, they are ALL experienced kiters that are out in these conditions. The winds today were MORE E'ly than S'ly as S'ly do not work well at Wello!

With the sheltered conditions, coffee rock and dangers with the wind, I would tell you to bring a chair, some beer and sit back and relax.
