To all you Kiters that kited Port Mlb yesterday arvo(Monday 30th) please dont kite in between the Yellow pole markers. From the shore it looked like havick out there while you guys dodged the people in there kyacks and one person got there kite tangled with a kyacker. The Live saving club has allready warned us if we dont use our common sense and stay clear of the people in the water they will ban us. That means missing out on an awesome spot on a South Easterly. Please, please dont get us banned and spread the word.

It pisses me off. There are a couple of people who don't seem to give a **** about the havoc they cause. Then they'll bitch and complain when the bans kick in.

Any idea who it was? I.e. what colour kite?

Cant remember the colour kites but it was a girl whom crashed her kite into the kyacker and some other guy with blonde dreadlocks was dodging the kyackers as well. They probably are unaware of the rules. There was around 5 kiters in total the other kiters stayed clear when they seen the kyackers come out.

3 of us got out around 5 when a group was packing up as wind was shifting/dying a bit, so cant comment on earlier kiters.. after we had packed up and the nippers were doing there beach and water runs there was one kiter on the water red/white fuel riding way to close to the shore when little 6 years olds were within mtrs of his turns. the life saving club didn't look happy.

its a great spot to kite and common sense to stay away from the swimmers, other water users..when they are not there no one gives a s#$t if you ride inside the poles, but when the life saving club and 50 kids on the beach are running around commom sense should prevail.. somehow it doesn't
