I just tried to post a 2nd hand 132 board from SA to NSW with Australian Post. They measured it up, charged me for it and now they have turned around and said that it never got posted because it is too long. WTF!!!

What does everyone else use to post their boards from the Buy and sell??

I'll look into it Zac, but I dont think that greyhound run busses in regional South Australia. I know that Premier Stateliner will probably do it but they are pretty pricey

try greyhound couriers. that is what i have use. type in google greyhound couriers and it should come up.

I used Greyhound freight to ship a board from Perth to Gawler (SA).
The board was a 166 Gaastra (my training board). It cost $49.00.

Just make sure it is packed well with bubble wrap.
Greyhound may have deals with other carriers for SA country.
I know they offer a door to door courier pickup / drop off service for an extra $20.

Greyhound were by far the cheapest (and most realistic).
I was going to buy a 2nd hand board from QLD and got a quote from Pick 'n' Pack couriers, board price $250.......their estimate for packing/shipping cost was between $900 & $1000 !!!!!

Give Greyhound's Adelaide office a call. They were excellent when dealing with my freight.
