Here is a promo i did for Launch Helmet cams- the distributor of the POV1 helmet cam system in Australia. These are the same cams that are used for the in water surfski action on Bondi rescue - these babies are getting used alot by broadcast crew right now.

The unit is really well designed - initially for SAS type crew to use in combat - so pretty high end($1200 ish for the waterproofed version) but they are small (you just put the recorder unit down your rashie - helmet goes on the head! ),rock solid and shoots 16:9 progressive frames
Comes as a base recorder unit and bullet cam camera (with a nice 110 degree wide angle - sweet!) and mount. AND waterproof remote - so you only capture the stuff that you want

it even has a loop record "go back in time more where you do the move and press record and it commits the LAST minute (or whatever you programme it to) to the memory card - very handy!!
